Use Your IRA to Buy Investment Property
In the state of Texas we Realtors are required to take a certain amount of continuing education each year. Yesterday I took a class that is geared toward Realtors who frequently work with investors...commercial and residential. The instructor, Dan Cordoba, told us how the average citizen can access the funds within his IRA or 401K to purchase Real Estate. Quite honestly a lot of it was over my head, but it is evidently over the heads of most tax attorneys and toilers in the IRS. In point of fact, if an individual is willing to create his own LLC, which is of nominal cost, he may access all the funds in those accounts to buy investment properties. I don't mean borrowing from the 401K as some assume. I am talking about "checkbook" access to those funds. There is a certain amount of complexity involved, but Asset Exchange Strategies, LLC is able to help an individual navigate these waters with relative ease. If you are interested in learning more about this, send me an e-mail. I will definitely have more to say on the subject soon.
